As we are all sadly aware World Youth Day 2008 is now history but we must keep in mind that the event itself is only one piece of the entire picture.  We must take what we learned and begin sharing it with others.  The message should be shared with everyone so don't limit yourself by spreading the word to only the members of your youth group or parish.  Tell everyone because World Youth Day is not just for "youth" or Catholics - World Youth Day is for EVERYONE - Young, old, rich, poor, Catholic and non-Catholic.  Pope John Paul II left the WORLD a great legacy and the perfect vehicle to spread not only the Word of God but the means to unite peoples and nations.  We are now messengers or disciples charged with telling everyone what we already know - GOD IS ALIVE and with us each and every day.  When you share this message and what you learned with others, you may also want to add that the next World Youth Day will take place in Madrid, Spain during the week of August 15 - 21, 2011 and THEY ARE INVITED.
